Right then, bug went straight through the MOT today, Cheers George. Tyres 77324
But will need some new tyres soonish, just had a quick search on tinternet for some Firestones 155 R15 82T's and can't find any. Want to stick with Firestones as they last well and suit VW's.
Would prefer to go a bit wider than 155, but what would be ok width wise for a standard height bug on 4.5J steels. Don't want any of that rubbing malarky.
Where do you all get yours from?
Cheers

Right then, getting these done this month.
Gonna contact Billy about getting them. but, looking online think Firestones are gonna be out of the question. Can't find 155 R15s and 165 R15s are kerching.
What brands do you recommend, don't want shitty budget tyres.

it makes sense when u dont wanna get ya hands dirty, piss arse around with pry bars, or blag someone to fit em for ya who owns a tyre machine, ive got a good tyre machine, and a really good wheel balancer, and i still use em cuz im a lazy coont! lol,
they aint big fans of stretching tyres onto wide rims tho, u need some massive gust of air to pop em on, like a lorry garage compressor, there a pain in the arse....but look cool Very Happy
