Engine overhaul.

Right then I recently posted how I was after a bigger engine for my beetle I now have 1 so....
Firstly my tired engine had to come out.


Wasn't to bad first time ive ever done anything like this, but a second pair of hands would of made it easier.

Exhaust came off easy just had to grind back box bolts off manifold as we're to rust they just crumpled.

Now just need to clean bay out ready for paint which I have to match car!! Just need another day off work.

First layer of paint and light sanding for top coats.


Hopefully after weekend will be ready for new engine to go in!!!!

Engine seal fitted
Stand-offs fitted
Engine in minus carbs, tinware, fuel line an wiring
