Out with the old; in with the older! 1957 Swedish Oval

After selling our 1962 beetle I couldn't live without one in my life so I decided on this lovely patina'd Oval from Sweden.









After getting the engine going and sorting the electrics I then gave her some new wheels and dropped the front end.

I believe it was trampled on my one of Santa's reindeer en-route back from Lapland one Christmas! I have a roof cut from another Oval to fix it though.

are you going to change it ?

I am thinking of painting it black, and replacing all the trim etc so it looks like the one I have just sold but I am not sure yet, the Rat Look does have character though.
