Found a bus

I was just putting a cover on a swimming pool and turn around and a old grey bus s reg was looking at me!

It has a pop top like spams and a sink and fridge on the passenger side!

Looks like it was once in top condition, all seals etc in very good nice it has one or two patches of rust but nothing to cry about!

Tax has gone on the 6th month! the owner broke his back in a climbing accident so has it parked in a field!

I said oooooh I could advertise it on FDK and they laughed, but Roo likes it too!

What would be a rough guide I know that is a hard question though! I though about £3k ish!

Couldn't open the bit for the engine, couldn't find they key amongst all the keys!

They engine was a new one!

bid him £1500 . if he says no push him in the pool

il try and be a bit more helpfull - is it organel paint ? if not is the paint a desent age ? i dont like new paint as its noramly shit undernief .

how long has it been out of test ?

im well out of date with prices but id defo go in low and see what hapens .

It was nice creamy white on top and grey bottom!

I just looked at some photo's of spam roof (top) it looks a different one!

If its a full legth pop top it could be a westy,if it is,thats a good find.

But there's a credit crunch recession thingamembob on now tho !

I washed my bus today, first time since I bought it, and noticed rusty looking marks by the window seals and guttering.. wont be washing it again in the near future !

Just bought a camper and bus mag to look at!

its hard to say but i recon there some good deals out there . lisas van was wel cheep but still wouldnt make the money of a few years back . the more hard to find stuff will hold its money but i recon theres load of stuff say on people drives that would come cheep . i no of a nice bus you could get for 3k ish at the mo that would of been 4k pluss i year back . kick the bloke in the bollex and see what he says is my advise
