Fire Poi....

Hey all, im wanting to buy some fire poi of my own so i dont keep borrowing clares at each show lol (Thanks Clare! ) and wondered if anybody can recommend any?
Also what are the difference between cathedral,platted and ball wicks? im guessing the flame burns different with each?

my chains are cathedral wicks, they are heavier, use more wick and so hold more fuel (good/bad?)
Think Lise and Ben use the ones with wick wrapped around a metal tube, these are a bit lighter.
ball/monkey fist knots are knots of kevlar rope, they look nice, think they are lighter, ive only ever used ones ive made.
not sure what platted are.
really you need to try a few and see which you like best. big bang??!!

Evenin Clare, Im well up for trying out a few different types of fire poi at BigBang, i liked your heavy cathedral ones last year but i cant remember what ben and lisas poi feel like!
I also want to have a play with Dickies Devilsticks if he will teach me with fire!
