Gash bastards.....I despair with some peoples quality of work

Decided to get back into ripping out the floor in the Oval today.

Chopped out all the back then moved to the pedal area....

took the pedals out no prob's (altho it'll be a twat reconnecting the clutch )

started on the front of the floor,hammer n chisel in hand ready to beat the living shit out of it, i scrapes away the oodles of sealant and fuck me the floor comes out in my hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It HADN'T been WELDED in

I know its awkward to do,but fuck me, NO weld at ALL, really safe that huh?? NOT!!!!

Thank fuck i takes my time to do stuff otherwise it could have caused me probs when im hoofing down the strip or the twisty roads oop here with my scooby lump.....

If you need to rush the job....simple.....LEAVE it till you have time to do it PROPERLY

Its crazy what some people do as a quick fix aint it lol,in my time of owning a few dubs ive come across these bodges to name but a few...
Heater channels stuffed full of newspaper with a ton of filler and undersealed over!
Road signs used as panel replacements!
Floorpans completely constructed out of chicken wire,filler and underseal!

yup ive had some of them in^^^^ in the past too matey..

im off mon tue wed n start nights on thurs, so im hopin to finish the floor pans weld in new front inner wing repairs and have the body off and floor finished by the time i go to work fingers crossed

good luck with getting sorted dude, i've booked next week off to get wilbur painted and back on the pan in one piece. hopefully get it all done before feb and get it moved to the new lockup. feels good to be getting somewhere with it

Paint is my only problem, as i dont have any where to do it,so i guess my Oval will be joinin the rat look till i can sort it out...Be next year as thats when we plan moving house (and if i get my way i will be buying an old croft with plenty of OUTBUILDINGS or a BARN )
