T4 SWB Desiel Surf Van

Hello FDKers

I have a mate at work who is after a van. He cannot afford an old one, and doesn't want to do one up.

So he wants a T4 (his price range is at a push £4k)

Loose spec is:

Tinted Side Windows
Lowered
Alloys
Neat and tidy van
Rock and Roll bed
Decent Stereo
Surf van (must look cool )
clean body work
MOT'ed

not interested in Petrol I found out today, less sure about a straight 1.9D as he knows they are a bit underpowered.

Trouble is dude they're fetching proper big money these days - and the honest truth is that I wouldn't buy one at todays prices I'd rather put my hard earned into some Yank metal, much better bargains to be had.

£4k might buy a nice tidy van that needs most or all the converting doing - to have it all done for £4k in todays climate is a bit 'moon on a stick' TBH IMHO unless it's a real old van.

Also trying to buy a van at the beginning of summer is probably bloody doomed bargain wise

If it has to be a T4 I'd be looking at a 2.5 petrol, they're good on fuel, nice and rorty and there are bargains to be had - but that's just me.

Thanks mate, good and bad in there, good as that means my T4 is worth more than I paid bad cos I will hafe to search ebay for him.
