interesting drive home

5 miles from home throttle cable just broke on bus near to pedal end, yep tied it with piece of earth lead which is all i cud find up thru the floor n pulled with hand, started of real slow jus toddlin in 2nd gear, got bored pulled it a bit n revved high n off i went up to 50, only problem was trying to stop the earth lead had got caught up i let go off lead n yep im still doin 50 for the next 3 miles What is the best roadside bodge for this?? it came undone three times in total oh the joys of owning air cooled dubs

i came back from tonton with a lot of play in the steering of a lhd t25 . when i went to have a look the next day it had no coupling . it was tied with string that had rotted away and was on the bolts from either side hitting each other and turning it .

Whats the best way to join it- bodge it so i can get 25 miles to chelt gsf to get another cable?? Cheers

those choc block electrical connections would fix it mate,did mine like that on the split once

its Laverda Steve current one is an RGS 1000 n he,s got a factory built one off racer RGS with loadsa trick bits on it, its called Brutus He runs a small Laverda workshop Evesham area, one of the most knowledgeable people on Laverdas in the world

brilliant, i'll send my mate over. hes after some info and stuff for his 750 replica hes rebuilding. id love a big laverda, the triples sound awsome.

Yeah cool he,s got spares but some of it is sooo rare now, maybe pm me what he,s after, i dont mind meetin ya mate n takin him there its a bit hard to find
