I don't want to dissapoint anyone but i didn't run 7.97 @ 168, I was only allowed to do a burnout (a pretty big on though ha ha) and a launch first go, This went well but the clutch was playing up, it's centrifugal so it worked on the launch but you use the pedal just for manouvering it around and this wasn't working at all, so i had to try to gently bring up the revs and slip a big nasty race clutch without running over my crew ! the second burnout went well and i was allowed to do an 1/8th mile pass but when i stopped after the burnout reverse wasn't there, so i shut it down as it hasn't got any cooling and would have been too hot by the time i had been pushed back , i'm going to pull the gear box this week and have a look ,Lenco reversers are really weak and everyone that runs them has broken reverse at some point , as some of you know i haven't got sponsorship for running apart from some discount on fuel from Motorshack.com , so i'll have to sell another kidney to fix it and run again this year, it's a bummer but i'm really pleased i got to drive it after all this time and on my Birthday was a bonus! oh we had triffle too !!!

Thanks dude, Yeah it was a bummer ,but i was over the moon with just getting it on the track and driving it , I always knew there would be teething troubles so i'm not stressed out about it , Did a 1.2sec 60 ft too which is 4 tenths of a second faster than i've done it before !
My mates were telling me about the crowd reaction but i didn't see or hear any of it, Jen (My girlfriend ) was so overwhelmed that she forgot to video the first burnout !
