Just wanted to let everyone know how big a help George was in trying to sort out the Polo.

Couldn't have asked for more from him, even though the issue turned out to be terminal sad

So, many thanks for all your help.....and don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the battery!

Sadly the Lupo turned out to be a piece of shit, as well as not really being to practical for a gentleman of my stature.

I do however now own a very tidy, low mileage Ford Focus.

hmmm, chip broke? immobolised? could be hiding all sorts of faults, if its only 80 odd quid to get the chip sorted why havnt they done it, the car would sell much better if running. i dont like the sound of it toast, leave it. seen it before, someone had a cheapo orfa fleabay and the engines been fucked after they sorted the keyfob. thought they were getting a cheap motor but ended up scrapping it in, as it was knocking like a whorehouse headboard.
there all pretty slow man, the 1.4's are ok, i just dont really know why lupos are so much more money.

No idea, can only think it was built up condensation from it having been stood around before I bought it. Anyhow, now I've dried it out and chucked a new set of plugs in it's running fine. Well apart from the speedo keep dropping out on the way home and the car stalling when stopping for lights
