^^^ that's your only chance of getting funding but no one is going to just hand over £2m I'm afraid

you will need to set-up and run your project for a number of years to show it's viable and worthy before you'll get any grants of anything more than a few hundred

We have communities, what live like that around hear, 2 in-fact, but I don't know how educational they are as they look rough! Well they are the new age traveler's!
They do go to Tesco's from time to time!

No one's pissed on any parades - far from it - but I am realistic that it's a bloody tall order.

I'm talking to the agent again this morning to get a real world idea of the costs involved to acquire the property - then I'll start thinking about what might be really possible. I know that every man and his dog must knock on the door for funding money all the time - I'm just hoping that my idea will be different enough and tick enough boxes that it might just be tempting to a few wealthy philanthropist types. Just maybe.
