pc hard drive - anything will do

hello , my mums pc keeps going tits up , i think its teh hard drive but as you know im no expert , i want a cheep hard drive to try it before laying out on a big one , so a 10 or 20 gig one would do , i dont know if there all the same ut i guess if the plugs are the same it would be worth a shot , what you got ? cheers d

ps they will be deleted strait away for the new copy of xp so no worrys about any old info on them

I got one of those external hard drive things to put my pics on, if thats any good ?
