how does your rag-top seal itself when shut? having one made and could do with the ideas if you dont mind me old mukka

Its got poppers around the roof that the top just attaches too,its never leaked once since ive had it.
Mine was already fitted but it was from paris beetles rag tops.

yeah, hes doin poppers but does yours have runners on the sides then? guess it must to keep it even when folded back.

Theres plastic strips that go thru the ragtop and sit in a runner on the inside of the bus - if thats what you mean my runners?

Yeah like lise says,theres about 5/6 plastic bars that latch into two metal runners that are riveted around the sides of the rag top.

Got me thinking about cutting a big hole in my roof now

any ideas where i can get the runners? maybe silent gliss like for the curtains. i fink some tinternet searchin is coming up

you want something stronger than silent gliss mate.
This pic shows the rail from above,its a piece of ally in a T shape but with another rail underneath.

The van roof fits in one side and the plastic supports fit in the other side and its riveted to the roof.
I cant get the other pic up because it comes up massive but look on that page i showed you and it shows the metal runner from under neath..
Its about 1.5 inches wide and 1/4 thick,roof in one side,rails in the other
