thoughts much appreciated on the following...I am hoping a clean and tune of the carb might sort it but any suggestions much appreciated...
'61 1200 6V motor already has new coil, plugs, battery
starts up OK
sets off OK but if you put your foot down at all it starts to miss and not pull
if you're slowing and revs are high it backfires nice and loud when you drop down through the gears
I'm thinking running too rich so maybe carb? But have seen comments about compression probs and I think the exhaust is on its last legs?
Am I in expensive trouble?
