HELP Engine problem

think ive reached my tech limit here.

the bus has a missfire, so checked all the leccy side of things and all ok. did the valve clearances again in case i ballsed that up and that was ok.
now today ive noticed that the carb on pots 3 & 4 isnt sucking anwhere near as much as the carb on 1 & 2.

any idea what im looking at here? starts fine (albiet on 2 pots) ticks over on two but wont pick up on the other pots.no horrid knocking noises just wont effin run.

any iodeas would be greatly appreciated, or in the worse case a nice cheap 1600 lump

right, sussed it. next question, can you get the cylinder heads off with the motor in the bus?

Yeah you can,just 8 nuts around the head and it should come off.
What was it rich?

Thread at the rear of the inlet manifold was fooked, leaking too so that's it hopefully. Dickie, I've got the heat exchanger off, the ex manifold off, rocker gear off and pushrods and tubes out. 4 nuts on the studs off so there are more somewhere. I'll check when I'm not half pissed and it's light. Cheers dudes, many thanks.

Theres 8 studs per head rich,4 per barrel

o yea , unless there extending ones , or he has new one so just banged um out . its a mistory

bought a nice new set so squished em and pulled em out. bit barbaric i know but id had enough by then.

if i remember right there's 4 bolts inside the rocker cover and 4 outside ?
