We got the pop-top up over the weekend, seems to be intact if a little grubby

Gave it a bit of a wash too yesterday, mostly to remove the grime/moss and assess how much rust there is.... there's a lot! lol

Drove it up the road and back after washing it, engine seems good... steering box is vague to say the least. Hopefully I have one in the garage... I had it so long, I can't remember if I've sold it Suspect

Yep... as soon as I can afford a new mig lol ...or convince Andy to lend me his

Having had a better look over yesterday, (welding wise) I'm hoping it'll only need a cab floor repair for MOT and the rest can wait until after the summer smile

Oh right - I thought you said it was rusty !

I was expecting sills, corners, crossmembers, valances, arches, floors, outriggers, windscreen surrounds and all that jazz carzzy

Best of luck with it, anyway smile

Sorry to disappoint you lol

It is fairly rusty, yes... but the MOT failing stuff has mostly been sorted by the previous owner; albeit not all particularly well. I will be re-doing the chassis rails and cross members at some point as although functional, it's not the best wink ...but for now, most of it'll pass an MOT I expect

The apparent rust is mostly gutters, roof corners, front panel (around the headlights) and doors (which it may be better just to replace); here's some more pics, you'll get the idea...
