I wanted to wait until we'd seen Mark off in style before i posted this up (... and well done, by the way, to everyone that came along yesterday, I thought it was a very fitting tribute by the FDK to a top bloke!)
Right then ...
I mentioned this to a few of you at VW Action, and again yesterday after Marks Funeral. The House in the Tree has re-opened, and I've been in to speak to the new management, and they are more than happy for us to carry on holding our club meets there.
So ... all FDK'ers, new members and old ! get yourself down to 'The House in the Tree' on Tuesday next week (the 25th) from 7.30pm onwards, 'cos its about time we had a proper Club Meet! It's been ages since we all got together for a chat, a laugh, and having a pint together ... and now would be a good time to do it, and we can all raise a glass in our own FDK way to our good mate Mark.
