Ok, thinking of getting an exchange engine in Rosie over the winter.
Thinking of a red 1641. New unleaded heads blah blah etc. a few places do em, looking at the engine shop ones at the mo, so if anyone has used em or any advice on the matter would be ace.
Seemed pretty knowledgeable at busfest.

How much is it rich??
The engine shop took over from volksspares i think,or someone like that..
They do seem to have a good rep,or at least i dont see any negative stuff about them.
The unleaded heads thing means nothing as they all take unleaded.

run 1641 too, yeah bit more oomph thru the gears and a slighty better top end, had it stuck at 85 a few times for a few miles and hit 90 (private road), definately more fun to drive! :-)

41cc extra doesn,t sound a lot but definately helps. If i was you i would test drive one first before you spend a grand... yep you can borrow mine if your insured or test drive it smile

Cheers, might look into cost of building one or buying one.
I do like the idea of just whacking it in and having a warranty though. Very Happy
