Engine cleaner

I'm dismantling the 1200 at moment and was wondering does any1 no or recommend anywhere I can take all tin ware and case to be cleaned prep for paint and rebuild.
I usually use any colour coatings for paint and its good quality/ price but not always ready when they say and they never wrap anything back up when I go collect?!

You dont want to sand blast the case though just the tinware.
Try Ali's mate,his firms called the iron bed company i think

You must get your case cleaned properly before putting back together if you've had any machine work,i know stateside do a hot wash for cases after any machine work..

He's on faceache as iron design company or Steve Dawes TROJAN fit
He's one of my friends if you would like to look at his work !!! I'm pretty sure he did a mini the other week

Being a bit of a tight arse - I'd clean the case on the cheap.

If it doesn't end up needing any machining work, then just go mad with a litre of neat GUNK and a small paintbrush, leave it for a few minutes to soak in, then take it down to your local petrol station that has a manual jet wash. After that just bring it in the house to dry out properly before you rebuild it.

Cheers pad I'm on the same path!! I've got my brother in law lettin me take it to his work saturday where they have an industrial steam cleaner. should do it nicely.!
