Yep agree with Barry, classic Fords especially genuine good nick fast originals (cossies, Mexicos) are like hen's teeth these days (because they were all thrashed or used in ram raids!) and now have rarity value. Not just that, they were mighty motors as well...
I sold my 2 door mk 1 Escort in the 80s for £60. No tax but a months ticket on it. And I considered myself lucky because nobody wanted them. A 2 door shell alone, in reasonable condition could be 100 times that now.
