Not defgo yet, but as im doing mire and more bike shows I could do with something like a t4 van.
Ya know, chuck bikes in the back, pump up bed and use that instead.
Not very possible in a bay as the engine is in the way. Lol.
How much would I be looking at for a tidyish t4 van?

anything form 500 to 10 grand . so much to chose from , an old builders van like my blue one you could be in for a grand , Di's sold for £3500 but was petrol but drove loads nicer , id guess you would have somthing half about for 3k but personally would keep the bay and buy a transit aswell , what it costs to keep the new van i bet your bayt will go up by each years .

For the price of the bay you would get a nice t4 but its will lose money wile the bay is make it . Still I like the practical genraly so don't blame you

Once your heart and head tell you to do something I usual go all in but in this case if I was u it depends wether you want practicality or investment. Rosie is an investment but the t4 very practical might be a pain putting bike in and out without a high top!

Really don't know how to play it tbh, mrs mint could drive a t4 easier and they are a bit nippier. Its a three hour treck to the coast n im bolloxd when I get there. Lol.
Di's would of been ideal I recon.

although my t4 was fab if i could of had bay and afforded to keep it i would of loved another bay  i would keep rosie just because it is an investment

a t4 with the big motor in is great to drive , cant take that away from um but you dont half pay for the badge . id have one if it was cheap but if i was spending a few quid id have a transit , merc or somthing ells modern with a 6 speed box , for my even in a nice t4 it wasnt the same as being in a proper dub so im as happy in my carry than a t4 just for the vw badge .

You do pay for the badge, no doubts there. I like t4's, had em as vans with work and they are nice n comfy.
Has to be a camper too as we still camp as a family. But if it could tow a small trailer that would solve the bike show issues. Plus sar could drive it easier.

i spect you will have plenty of interest in a swap . il swap it for the micra and a packet of cheese and onion and chuck in a tent ?

are you up for converting it yourself ? the proper built ones are a fortune but you can make a good job of it like WB did . got a good bloke for putting windows in . i think you can buy some reasonable interior kits theses day
