What's the big deal about Blur?

They were an ok band brit-pop band that had a few good singles but most of their later albums were full of filla. I really dont get all the hype?

I prefer them to michael jackson !

i like blur like most of their music but think during the last ten years or so there has been only a few songs that i think whoa i like that i.e. song 2, coffee and tv etc
thet rest total tonk and alex james isnt really that bothered anymore and he was the main brains behind their greatest hits
