a close shave

well nearly made my birthday a complete shitter this morning.
woke up and saw no rain, so i know i'll take the bike. pootling along, taking it all steady and all that schiz. come to a roundabout , 3/4s round and it all goes tits up.
turns out the island was coverd in fucking diesel and the bike nearly went down on the right. managed to keep it upright with my leg but think my err, groin took a bit of strain .
funny how theres been tractors going up there loads since yesterday, bastards .
still no damage apart from a achy groin, on my birthday . typical.

its a fucker that is . had to jam my leg down a few years ago when the back wheel stiped out on one of the mettal bumps at crossings . hurt for day . mind you that zzr wayed about 14 tones
