people dont like it but i say fuck um . its up to you what you do with it , as we all no you will do it anyways so we mite as well find out the best way about it befor you start . mite be worth shearch in vzyyy for "patina"

in stead of distesing it have you considers just painting it in an old and maybe flat paint like dickys and then letting the whether age it . just a fort mate

Ive seen some done with a base coat to start,then the top coat scotched and lightly sanded back along corners and edges to show the base coat through a little bit.
I think it looks quite good and agree its your car ,you do what you want
