Im gonna take a punt on this cogbox for my oval dude

i know john is sellin an 091 too but the cogbox will drop right in and i dont intend on racing the strip ALL the time

just becouse its rebuilt by cogbox dose't mean its uprated. at that price i'd say it's almost standard.

Dont forget im not gonna be launchin myself n the bug at every set of traffic lights
well not nearly all

funds are tight so im thinkin o gettin this to get me on the road and get me to the point where i can start trial fitting the scooby lump and fabricating my radiator etc..
n hopefully next year when funds are better placed i can get a sooper dooper box made oop

Persanaly i would of grab'd the 091 box like a shot. your going to sweeping that fucker up after a couple of weeks. 1st your drive flanges will go then your spider gears in the diff will lose there teath.

yeh but how much cutting/fabrication of my pan is involved to get it in??

the cog box will drop right in...

no cutting of the pan is needed. if you can make brackets its in. + you can use the bolt on bellhouseing instead of a adaptor plate. ive got a load of pics of mountig brackets i can post when im back on the pc.

i now have in place....
1 x scooby turbo lump(with all bits i need from it) 265BHP ish
1 x narrowed beem on the way
1 x 091 gearbox on the way

tis getting there

bits still to get...
disc brake conversion front and eventually the rear.
irs stuff
roll cage
comfier seats
radiator,plumbing etc
BIGGER Turbo.......runnin and 04 at the mo will go to an 05
shortened sump
gearbox/engine adaptor plate
scooby loom custom cut n stripped out

ive arranged with John for me to pick the box oop next month.
So i best gets my arse in gear aand get the shell orf ready to start messing about with it all
Bein as ive got the box a LOT earlier than i was expecting i had better start researching this IRS thingy doo dah and start looking into getting all the bits to do that

mmm i will soon be lookin at doin the radiator and plumbing...oh deep joy
