No narrowed beams come with bump stops mario.
They dont fit them because people who fit narrowed beams are normally going lower which means you cant have a bump stop fitted as it will get in the way..
There isn't any kits around either.
If you really want to fit them, you will have to buy an old beam and cut them off and weld them to yours mate.
Remember though, fitting it will limit the amount you can go down

No problem on mot mate.
You set the height right so that they dont hit..
The torsion bars will only spring so far, then your dampners should cushion the rest from hitting

mmmmmm.......ive set the ride height already............and my wheels hit the body work!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me thinks it could be cos the front wheels is too wide!!!!!!!!!!!!

i will have to have a looksee at my steering and come up with a cunning plan to stop this problem from happening!!! FAO....Oily t 16560
The wheels hit the lower trailing arm and the inner wing area!!!!! NOT good...

i feel some mcmario special engineering coming on...

If its hitting/rubbing on full lock to lock, then the bump stops being there or not will make no difference mario FAO....Oily t 549614

There not there for the steering...
They're for stopping the vehicle from going too low under load and damaging your leaves FAO....Oily t 77324
The bump stops shouldnt really be relied on to stop the car from going to low in normal driving conditions, only there to stop damage once in a while.
If you need bump stops to stop rubbing your leaves are set too low FAO....Oily t 77324
If your driving on the bump stops you will have no dampening from your shocks either and it will ride like your driving a rock FAO....Oily t 77324

right im getting confused ere...............yeh yeh i know, easily done when at my age FAO....Oily t 869774

what then, stops the steering from going too far???? as in stops the problem i have now..................full lock on and my whells hit body and trailing arms..........

with NORMAL wheels this wont happen...........so i take the problem i have is self induced by fitting the 17's????
if thats the case then i just need to wait for Adz to show me the pics of the set up he has............

My ride is NOT low at the mo...............once i az mot( as in got on and orf the mot ramp) then i will set the rake i want.................as i am NOT slamming her.......twas never my intention to slam..............just a nice nose down rake...........ready for the squat of the back end once i gets the new lump in in FAO....Oily t 16560

im at work at the mo but will try take some pics over next day or two to show you the prob i az........ FAO....Oily t 77324

Theres your problem...the wheels mate
I know what problem you mean mate, you just had me confused when you mentioned the bump stops,as they have nothing to do with rubbing from steering.
They are there just to stop you going too low.
Vw never designed the steering box to accommodate hoooooge wheels FAO....Oily t 16560
You just need to weld something to the beam to stop the box travelling its full distance FAO....Oily t 77324

If the fuel tanks out you'll see the steering arm pokeing througe the beam just make some stops up off the beam or on the arm. FAO....Oily t 730963

infact! since im so helpful...

FAO....Oily t IMG_2154

not mine but identical

little bracket welded on the beam at the shock tower with a captive nut (m6 thread)

same on the otherside of steering box but out of shot in that pic.

then screw a m6 (10mm) bolt into the thread with a nut on to lock it in place once adjusted.

hope that makes sense!
