It dont look too bad at first glance,BUT...................................

there are NO piccies of............
door pillar posts and hinge areas
heater channels
front inner wings
floor under seat area ( battery tray and other side)
the engine bay piccy is of the car BEFORE painting,so, i would want piccies of it now and of the engine side trays.
Body mounting points ( where the back end bolts together by back wheel)
front wheel well area.
doors do they open shut ok without dropping

i am NOT slagging this motor off just pointing out what i did on my for sale thread for the wifes bug.
He is saying the channels "sound" solid whats that about??? get the carpets up and get piccies.

Shame hes gone over original paint with it,could be hiding all sorts of things.
Engine already needs looking at but shouldnt be much problem..
No bumpers is a massive no for me unless its low but they can be bought..

i mis-read it
he says seem solid. id be wanting a good look around it...

Engine is 1641cc, just had new piston rings, all valves taken out, cleaned up and lapped in, heads cleaned up, barrels honed and new plugs and oil. Loads of compression, no end float and pulls like a train. I think the timing needs doing as it doesn't idle very well at the moment.

why do all that^^^^^^ and NOT time it or get it running right???
