Great weekend

Another lush weekend with you lot..
Great weather and we got to hit toast lots.
Finally got home at 10pm after calling the AA at 3.30pm..
Told them from the start i needed a Demount recovery because of how low it was..
Finally picked me up at 8.10pm with the right truck after 2 wrong ones

glad you got it back in the end . now the work starts . let me know if you need any help . once i can stand up again that is

Im after a proper engine stand if you know of any about

Engine was only firing on 3 on the way there,took it steady but it was just blowing way too much out the head,i couldnt of driven far to be fare..
Got the driver to drop me off in portland street carpark and i drove it round to the garage as the truck wouldnt of got down the road.
It was mega loud with it blowing and didnt have much power..
Luckily i already have some virtually brand new heads here and its gonna have a winter makeover

You would of loved it lise,the weather was amazing..
I wore a tshirt all friday evening,it was that mild you didnt need a top at all..cant believe how nice it was

I know its not much difference but im gonna stick with 1641 or possibly go to 1776

Sounds like what happened to my type 3 after a trip to Wales. It was a stripped thread on a head bolt. I helicoiled it and popped it back in. Jobs a good un.

1914, its just the case and heads but you mite wonta put an 8 dowel crank in it and you mite as well stick a 25 or 35 cam in

Its got a engle 110 in it at the moment,does seem to make a difference i think..

When its apart it would be worth giveing the heads a bit of a port.

Is it worth upgrading any of the internals if im going bigger??

brothers heads from the u.s are good for the money and they come with matched ports
