Repainted my inner wheel arches today with about 4/5 coats of celly

And decided i needed a table

Few coats of stain

Decided i wanted to do a stickered table to add some random colour inside

Not a bad days work for a saturday me thinks

Fuck me was i ever pissed last night,got home about 3.30 absolutely twatted

i'm feeling very delicate today, was suppose to go into town and do some shopping but only managed one shop ......i have now got a voddy in hand, hair of the dog and all that but it is very hard work

right then matey peeps, me old china, me old pal,mucka,chum
this matting agent type stuff,can it be used in the primer too or ONLY the celly top coat ie the colour? Did you primer it before rollering it? And what i meant was when you painted the arches did you use a brush under there or the roller?
Lookin at the way ur van seems to have come out in the piccies you have put up it has given me some ideas(no they didnt hurt ) for the underneath of my van
Having painted motors in the past im, i cant get over the fact how good it has come out and plus i aint heard of this matting agent before,just hope i can get it up here,cos if i can my van will be gettting painted in the next few weeks too

Morning mate
Primer is already matt,ie it has no shine to it.you can have matting agent added to any colour and every paint suppliers will stock it or add it to the paint for you.
You can also ask for satin which is a lesser degree of matting.
I used filler primer along the very bottom of the van where i had sanded back any imperfections but the rest was just rollered over the old paint,the old paint was matt as well so this may of helped with the way it has come out
I did just paint the celly on underneath the arches with a brush but i had already painted them 2 years ago with stone coloured hammerite,so they just needed a good clean..

The Mrs is goin on about bloody purple or porche guards red
i will have to have a SERIOUS think on ma colour scheme now
