Ali, saw them at Roadmenders Northampton in June 89 (supported by 'Poke it with a Stick' who were very good - I bought their 'Thrashing out of Weirdsville EP at the gig).

The Roses were all so pissed & stoned they couln't play/sing/stand up. Was all a bit disapointing.
Looking at the promo photos for the new gigs, they dont appear to have laid of the drugs very much - so I'll be keeping my cash this time wink

I've heard a few people say that but I've got to take the risk !!! Mate grew up listening to them over and over one of few bands I can not over play or get bored of!!
