Alternator/dynamo ??

Was thinking of fitting alternator when do my new engine would this mean regulator under back seat no longer needed or would I have to replace?

long time since iv done one but you wont need a reulateor as its built in to the alternator

New alternators it's built in. Original alternators from 70s do have an external regulator. So it depends

Cheers would be brand new 1. Just have to sort cables at regulator then.
