That was the plan for this afternoon.

Ended up bailing the fucker out, and stripping the whole carpet, seats, centre console out. Thought I might share my afternoon of disbelief at the design of this thing

Bailing out:

2 inches deep in water under the carpets in places !

Oh - the best bit.... there is an electronic control module thingymebob under the carpet, on the passenger side, right in the deepest bit of the puddles. Quality design lol

Zoe will be driving it round now for a week or so with no carpet or trim in it, while it all dries out.

We unblocked the drain holes in the front scuttle last week, under the battery tray. So - it ain't coming from there.

Gonna let it dry out then sprinkle the floorpan inside with talcum powder. That should show where its coming from all being well smile

Just had this with my dad's Skoda Superb (same car essentially). Cleared all the bungs under the battery and still no joy. Finally found it was the seal under the pollen filter box. Right pain to get out but resealed with silicon sealer and so far everythings ok. Electric seats work again and the alarm's stopped waking the neighbours.

Cheers for the tip, Rob - I'll have a look at the Pollen filter box thing tomorrow. smile

Found the leaks..... pollen filter housing, and ECU housing.

Fixed the leaks.

Ran it round with no interior for another couple of weeks to check the fix fixed things.

Got the whole lot back together today...... then turned the key.

Airbag Fault

Cars are crap
