Go with the current red/orange. It suits it in my opinion. Also get the skinniest tyres you can (cross ply if poss) and have it riding really high. And then polish and wax to a really shiny finish. It'll look the absolute bollocks.

would like to in principle mike but the boy aint as nice as it looks in pic and would cost to much for a very nice shiny job , could stick with orange and go nice and bright , thing about the less shiny is they show less shit up . the paint on it would come up ok but there a few bit the wont so will need to have a full go over anyway . im undecided , MOT tomorrow away

Whatever you decide to do paint-wise, keep the "integrity" of the car. Of the other colour choices, the grey looks nicest, and quite subtle.
