help carb needed

well i took mine apart 2 see if i could clean it,because the engine was running lean and ive fucked it!! its an after market weber with a plate on toped marked
w-224051,i need either to find a service kit which i have googled or anyone have a cheap solex to go on a 1600 bay,i have twin carbs to fit but need to go away in it this weekend cheers matt

what have you done to it?

its got this plunger that sucks the petrol into carb,thats not working freely,but i cant find a service kit as think its an after market weber.

Its the needle valve . it dosent suck in fuel its a shut off valve to stop fuel filling the carb when its full to stop flooding. have you try'd cleaning it?

ive cleaned it but theres  a plunger that is not free enough,its worn and ive made it worse:eek:

i will have a look in my box of carb bits in a bit and see if ive got a spare one.

try and stick a piccy up of carb/part needed fella.

if you go on vzi the air cooled tech bit pics on there,just relised i cant put a standard carb on as the manifold is to big bloody nightmere!

Ive just got back in. all i have is solex parts sorry.

just looked and the weber manifold is bigger than a standard solex is there a conversion kit?
