Danny Banyard. iv'e just used the stub axles off his old baja we had broken up in the late 80s on my bug i'm building at the mo.  
haven't seen him for years.  I knew a few of the guys years ago but most of the names iv'e forgot.

not many of the old school v dubbers are still in the scene !!!!!
I still do interiors for v dubs and have a Passat on bags ,steels ,chrome caps and white walls and my wife has a new shape 20v turbo bug but we are in the hot rod scene as ive also got a model A sedan .
and im guessing a few of you lot know of wayne from intergactic custom shop and jim smith from cotsweld . we have been close friends and business mates ever since 88.
juzzy is in to T4 and T5s
robin berry is in to T25s
tim daker ,tony and sarah are in to Harleys
ted and carol are in to bikes and trikes (just went to carols 65th birthday party!!!)
james rogers is in to café racers and has a T4
dave mayne is in to road bikes
dave gamon is in to land rovers and minis
nik butler has a50s f100 pick up
paul venners does drag racing videos and commentary at santa pod

just hope the rest are not just in to zimmer frames !!!!!!

You think yours is low the rev lowered the blue 1 I previously bought off him it was scraping cat eyes at front when I finished with it and it was painful even with them sets lol....

yup .not a problem ................ I didn't want to turn this thread in to a free advert for me as  it is just to get some good old friends back together to all talk about the good old times before mobile phones and internet !!!!!!!!  hope this thread can help sort this out ,,,, as for the FDK members there is no reason why you cant all pop along as we are all petrol heads at the end of the day .
but ....................if you do need a retrim go to "whats in the trim shop this week" on rods n sods  to keep up to date
