anyone else got tropical fish?

or have you got real friends .

over the last 3-4 days ive had a mahoooosive explosion of snails in my tank. ive not put any new fish or plants in there just the odd frozen bloodworms.
now ive got hundreds of little cone shaped f**kers everywhere .
any ideas on a snail genocide technique?

stamp on them !

I thought snails were good tho ? they keep the tank clean ??

yeh snails are asexual so they reproduce all bye them selves(bit boring hey!)
once youv got one, you generaly have millions of the little things. i had 3 snails about 4yrs ago and iv had loads evere since.
watch out though... they get in the filter and lay eggs too

i work with a bloke that tries that .
ive recently changed the top filter as ive got one of them bio type ones. guess they must have as i took loads out when i did a partial water change yesterday. still loads there though .i didnt want to use a chemical but if they get too many i may have to.
