Is it ignitor 1 or 2??
Either way thats well cheap for new mate...get it Pertronix Electronic Ignition kit NEW for £22 77324
Ive got ignitor 1 in mine and its spot on.
you just cant leave your ignition on for long or it burns it out but you can fit a resistor or something inline to get over this

Firstly toast is it for a vac advance or 009..there are two sorts and you have to get the right one for your dizzy. Pertronix Electronic Ignition kit NEW for £22 77324

ive got one in a 009 in the van and one in a vac advance in the garage,you can try the spare if you like mate.
I just reread your txt you sent today and realised you meant tonight for a pint..

as far as i no its a pub with a karioky in it not a kariocky pub . same as the well was wen it had it . i sure i remeber you in there . anyway il see you tomorrow , still dont no if iv got to take crumb to oxfored but hopefully will by end of play tonight smile

Rich - I always used to just pop the main coil feed wire off its terminal If I needed to leave the ignition on for a while (like - leaving the stereo on when youre parked up etc). Stops the coil from frying too.

you need to know which is and whether its right for your dizzy or else you will be wasting your money mate.

Nice idea smile

Could also add a switch/relay in that feed to cut it remotely without grubbing in the engine bay - would be an extra "immobiliser" too wink smile
