So, i'm moving to Cheltenham..

Hey folks,
Some of you may know me from VZi!
I'm moving to Cheltenham in late August/Early September, and just thought i'd introduce myself.
I have a 70 Beetle, 1950's Zundapp Bella, and the girlfriend has a 73' Marathon Bug.
I'm going to be looking for work, preferably in VW's, but anything considered

Change of scenery really! Chepstow is bland as 'ell, and all friends left are moving into houses etc all over the place, so i'm moving in with some mates, and the girlfriend is off to uni in Cheltenham too.

The Zundapp ... well i'm picking it up on Saturday/Sunday, so will post a pic, they vary slightly in models, but nothing major!
An old guy had four of them, restored one or two, then passed away, his wife has sold them for whatever reason to someone I know, and i'm PX-ing my MK1 Golf for one, I get to choose on the weekend, I cannae' wait

Ahahaha I know it sounds stupid, but they are lovely!
I can't afford the golf, as in running, insurance, tax etc, as well as my Bug, and this is fine sitting in my garage until i've sorted out tests etc.

I just spent £150 with Machine7 on my bug, so hopefully when it comes out of hibernation next week she will be purring

Hi, theres a few dub specialist type places you cud try but think you wud be very very lucky if you found something like that,poss give Ray at Bug Barn a ring to start with,if your up on the air cooled shit theres prob enuff dubs round here for you to find your own work ie. travelling to their vehicle n doin it there or ya own little rented space to take it back to, Good luck!
