Bear in mind you need one that fits to the floor or side panels as you have no engine bulkhead to bolt it to like in Bays, Splits and T3's

Do you want it to be crash safe and have seatbelts fitted or just for sitting and sleeping on when camping?

I bought my side windows from VW main dealer and paid an extra £5 for tinted ones they were around £40 each plus a little more for the seal!
I umed and ahhhed for ages about fitting them as you need a jigsaw or nibbler and some Silkaflex mastic type sealer!
But I had them fitted for £100 at the Mad Workshop in Bristol, which in the end I feel it was the best option for me!

I could take some photos of the cut out if you are having a go yourself! But the slideing door is a Bastard to get level as it rocks when you fit it, with mine being a twin slider I may have given up! This is what I was told!
The windows are different for a sliding door than the fixed side!

Also if you have tinted windows when you put the Black out tint on them they come out darker! ( So for the privacy tint it works better!)

Lowering straight forward I found a good link on Brickwerks on the T4 section!

I agree with you on the quality thing dickie, doing it right cost less in the long run, will try and dig out this bloke for the rock and roll bed on VZI.

The money does buy you build quality and safety - they're not made of bits of old wood like in the previous generations of buses

reckon I would rather get it right than cut corners, taken me 6 years since my last van!!!
