Am I not right in saying that in order for a vehicle to pass BIVA/IVA it has to be fitted with lights / light lenses with the the appropriate EC approval mark? Again modified retro cars are not going to have these and they won't be available as upgrades. So, is this yet another stumbling block which will stop older cars passing a test that they were not originally designed for??
Nope, incorrect I'm afraid Lights have to have a light equivalency and the only lights needing E marks ( and an F ) is a rear fog light
