Ive got some rams here with the proper vw bushes on to suit the back of yours
closed they are 12 inch from centre of eyelets when wound down (they have a threaded rod through the middle so you can have them longer if you need to)

I noticed on his pics they have no bushes at all the one end which will defo make them harsher.
These were the backs of mine but were slightly too big even wound down for an irs'd van.
Measure what you need for your backs,slammed and open lengths first mate to see if there ok
50 quid will cover them fine,no worries if not yet or you dont need them
