help fitting twin carbs

hi all got a set of webers and looks a bit of a fiddle on my own anyone in cheltenham area fancy giving me a hand for beer money

bit fidley from my experience 
well it was when i fitted them to the oval !!
i no the engine bay in the oval is smaller than that of  a later bug ! 
however you may have to cut holes in the inner wing to allow you to ballence the carbs !

i could probably fit them on the back seat but that's where my skills run out

ha ha its on a baywindow,i might have a go just dont want to be left with no van

is it a new kit or s/h?.   take you time and you should be ok.

its not a new kit i bought it from vzi,its got everything apart from gaskets between carbs and stands,i want to use the van next weekend do i go for it or waite??

I,d wait. no point trying to rush it, nothing ever go's to plan.

plenty of room in a bay. makes getting at the rear sparkplugs I bit tricky though.  lol
